- Programme Replay - 1. PRESENTATION The purpose of the user-program is to generate HDLC frames between two Clarinet interfaces by using as a source the events previously recorded into an event file. 2. FUNCTION OF REPLAY PROGRAM The event-file has to be recorded by running CLARINET-SYSTEM on one interface (ISDN, Vserie),. The monitoring function applied on SL or DL has recorded BOP events-type: HDLC, ISDN, CCS#7, Frame Relay. The programme make the following function: * transmission on the same type of interface and link of the frames recorded in the event file with the direction corresponding to the output direction of the Clarinet interface. * waiting for reception of BOP frames corresponding to the input direction of the Clarinet interface. The programme does not process any control on the content of the frames. The only purpose is to generate the same sequence of transmit and receive message. The user-program REPLAY.EXE uses the BOP events coming from one single interface recorded into an file with ACE extension. It could be used as a 'data user program' or 'signalling user program'. The condition to go to the next BOP event by reading the event file is to received from the mailbox of the user-program an BOP event which matches exactly with the type (TS, RS,TD,RD) and the content of the current recorded event. 3. SYNTAX OF COMMAND The general format is: wreplay [-t] [-c] The programme supports the following options: * [-t](s): delay before transmission of the first frame, if it corresponds to the first BOP events in the file. Default value: 0 second * [-c]: provide the Clarinet interface number of the events to read in the file. Default value: 1. * : name of the Clarinet events file including the binary BOP events (extension has to be entered). These options are entered in the 'parameters' line of the User-Program. Example of user-program fields: * name of the executable file:wreplay.exe * parameters: -t3 -c2 bop12.ace NOTE about the profiles: * the "data link type" must be set to BOP mode. * use of 'signalling user program' in an ISDN profile: the data link have to be initialised (simulation active, time-slot.number) if the events file includes TD or RD BOP events type.
