PH events
Reminder of the physical interface type and the selecting conditions can be
defined according to different modes :
- Decoding. To choose the selecting conditions in the list of the
possible event types, depending on the interface type.
- Service. Not used.
- Value. Selecting conditions can be
defined by value(s).
SL events (or DL events)
Reminder of the protocol stack . Reminder of the SL protocol stack,
with (D:i) the layer of appliance mentioned for each used protocol.
The highlighted protocol is the current
one with the following display rules:
- Protocol (D:i). Not any selecting condition is defined.
- >> Protocol (D:i). There is at least a selecting condition
defined according to the modes with a mark displayed
in the attached box.
The combinations of >> and marks are
useful to have a glance to the different event selecting conditions
implemented.
Selecting conditions can be defined according to different modes :
- Decoding. To choose the selecting conditions in the list of
protocol unit types, depending on the protocol layer in use.
- Service. Only for protocol filter use.
To choose the selecting conditions in the list of the service primitive
types, depending on the protocol layer emulated by Clarinet.
- Value. Selecting conditions can be defined by value(s):
- a field value in a control field identified in all the types of the
messages of the protocol layer.
- a data value identified in the data field
of the messages of the protocol layer, conveying data.
For statistics use, the Decoding / Multiplex
recording mode MUST be set.
- Measure. Only for statistics filter use.
To edit specifications for data flow measure or counting number of frames
with a certain length.
OR/AND operator. The logical Or operator by
default between Decoding (or Measure) and Value
modes can be replaced by the logical AND operator, if both
modes are in use.
