What is created?The installation of Clarinet Development creates the following directories under the path selected during installation (default is C:\Clarinet):
A shortcut to the Clarinet TTCN compiler is created in the Windows group selected during installation. The installation of Clarinet Development TTCN creates the following entry in the list of installed packages displayed by Clarinet-Init:
Options in Visual C/C++At the end of the installation, the last panel displays the path to add to the Visual C/C++ directories options:
Security KeyExecution and Installation of TTCN-Compiler of Clarinet Development is controlled by a Security-key. The passwords should be got from Acacia before starting installation by sending the form attached to the delivery note. For the execution of Clarinet TTCN-Compiler, the security key has to be connected on the parallel port and programmed with passwords. (see procedure notice added with the security key and Clarinet Help). License agreementThe use of the ACACIA software programs, delivered on this CD-ROM, requires compliance with the general conditions of the CLARINET SOFTWARE USE LICENCE. The use of the Da Vinci software programs requires compliance with the general conditions of the "Leonardo Editor" License Agreement.Da Vinci Communications licence fileExecution of Leonardo Base Editor from Da Vinci Communications is controlled by a licence file The licence file should be got by email from Acacia by sending the coupon attached to the delivery note.The LeonardoEditorBase.lic file provided by email has to be copied into the \windows directory (Windows 95/98/2000) or into the users home directory $SystemRoot/Profiles/<user_name> (Windows NT).
