Setup takes you through a series of dialog boxes that prompt for setup information What is created?The installation of Clarinet ETS creates the directories Claets and one sub-directory for each ETS (field 'directory name' of the index table.) under the path selected during installation (default is C:\Clarinet). The installation of each Clarinet ETS creates the following entry in the list of installed packages displayed by Clarinet-Init:
Each ETS is delivered with a set of Clarinet templates and documentation files in PDF format; all are installed in the ETS sub-directory. Additional packages: toolsSome Free tools are provided:
The documentation to install and run them is provided in each package. Security KeyAll the ETS developed by Acacia are provided on a single CD-ROM. Execution and Installation of any Clarinet Package ETS is controlled by a Security-key. The passwords should be got from Acacia before starting installation by sending the form attached to the delivery note.For the running of the installation procedure and for the execution of ETS, the security key has to be connected on the parallel port and programmed with the the corresponding password. (see procedure notice added with the security key and the 'Software installation: Security Key' topics of the Clarinet Help which explains how to program the security-key) Licence agreementThe use of the ACACIA software programs, delivered on this CD-ROM, require compliance with the general conditions of the CLARINET SOFTWARE USE LICENCE. Reading the index fileThe index.htm file which is at the root of the Clarinet ETS CD-ROM includes a table showing all the Clarinet ETS package which are available on this CD-ROM. Each of the Clarinet package is listed one single time and the content of its fields correspond to the last version of the package which has been published. The packages are sorted by the field 'ETS-CD-ROM' which is a concatenation of the date of CD publishing and of the Run-time version. The table can be easily imported in Microsoft Word97 and sorted by other values of field. Content of the index.htm file

Samples of execution The directory named Run contains Clarinet events files. The files result from the running by acacia-teams of the ETS in front of standard IUT. They provide some help to the customers who want to see the TTCN trace and the PDU exchange. They can be edited with the Clarinet Event-Editor. A filter is generally also included but has to be updated sometimes at the version of the Clarinet Run-time package.
