Software installation: ETS Report Generator

Introduction

This tool generates a Protocol Conformance Test Report from an Acacia protocol trace. It consists of a pair of template files for Microsoft Word 97, one of which contains a Visual Basic macro.

Installation

This tool consists of two files:

  • Generate a Test Report.dot
  • ReportTemplate\ReportTemplate.dot

The file 'Generate a Test Report.dot' and the sub-directory 'ReportTemplate', and contents, should be copied into a directory specified in Word for either User Templates or Workgroup Templates.

To find the location of these:

  • Start Word
  • Select the Tools menu
  • Select the Options menu entry
  • Select the File Locations tab
  • The entries User Templates and Workgroup Templates should be displayed

If your version of Word is installed in French

  • Select the Outils menu
  • Select the Options menu entry
  • Select the Dossiers par défaut tab
  • The entries Modèles utilisateur and Modèles groupe de travail
