Software installation: Clarinet Run-timeInstalling Clarinet Run-timeThis package is installed from a setup program The wizard takes you through a series of dialog boxes that prompt for setup information (licence number of the Clarinet run-time) What is created?The installation of Clarinet Run-time creates the directories Clatools, Cladata under the path selected during installation (default is C:\Clarinet). A Clarinet 10.x entry is created in the Programs menu. Clarinet 10.x provides access to different sub-entries for the Clarinet application and for initialisation purposes (Clarinet-Init, Clarinet Loader). The Clarinet Loader is added to the Start-up menu to automatically initialize the Clarinet book(s) if connected. The installation of Clarinet Run-Time creates the following entry in the list of installed packages displayed by Clarinet-Init:
If you need detailed instructions about using the Clarinet-system, online Help is available in the "Clarinet 10.x" group. Click on 'Getting started' on the first page. To get additional information, which might have been added after writing the Clarinet-Help, a Readme.txt file is supplied in the Clarinet package. The Clarinet Read Me file can be accessed from the Clarinet 10.x menu. Licence agreementThe use of the ACACIA software programs, delivered on this CD-ROM, requires compliance with the general conditions of the CLARINET SOFTWARE USE LICENCE. At the end of the installation the Host-PC must be restarted.
