Event-editor protocol - display optionsIf there is no associated filter applied, all events of the event file generated by the AS-INTERFACE (PH events and Level 1 events) or by the MANAGER (XDU events for example) are displayed: decoding and filtering are not possible.If an associated filter is applied, the events are displayed by the generation of ASCII lines corresponding to each decoding level format specified in the display format. The display format defines the maximum decoding level used for the display:
The Upper spec specification automatically positions this level at the highest one specified in the protocol stack. The filter includes the description of display formats which are applied on the character-string produced by each level:
Display action on SEGMENTED PDUThe Record action can generate PDU events (N level) when the segmentation is
implemented in a BOP protocol (N-1 level).
Color attributesColors are alloted to the event presentation by layer, by direction , by interface number or by type (PH, SL, DL).
