GSM A interface - BSS Application Part
The A interface is located between the MSC (mobile service
switching centre) and the BSS (base station system or radio
sub-system).

The A interface supports several Applications Parts:
- BSSMAP: Base Station System Management Application Part.
- DTAP : Direct Transfer Application Part.
