Throughput under
normal conditions
- OUT IR. Maximum value of the output data flow.
The DE (Discard Eligibility Indicator) bit is set to 0 in the transmitted frames.
- IN IR. When the input data flow is detected upper
than this bound, the BECN bit is set to 1 in the frames transmitted by the simulator.
Throughput when
congestion
- OUT IR. Maximum value of the output data flow :
- when the peer entity is transmitting frames indicating congestion (with the BECN bit set
to 1).
- when the simulator has entered a congestion state by itself
(and then is transmitting frames with the BECN bit set to 1).
