The Clarinet-system is a powerful Protocol Test platform supporting IP & H323 family protocol over Ethernet, ATM, ISDN, and  Vseries  interfaces. It offers a wide variety of functions:

  • One Data link (B channel) over ISDN BRI and PRI interfaces
  • One Data link over V24, V35, V36, X24  interfaces.
  • One data-channel (1 TS) + One data-channel (1-31 aggregated TS) over E1 interfaces
  • One data-channel (1 TS) + One data-channel (1-24 aggregated TS) over T1 interfaces
  • Two data-channels (VCC) over STM1 & E3 interfaces

IP Automatic Simulation:

TCP simulation

  • Establishment of communications:
    • Generator (1 to 50 destinations)
    • Responder (from 20 destinations)
  • Automatic fragmentation and reassembly procedure

H323 automatic simulation

Simulation Features

  • Establishment of communications:
    • Generator (1 to 50 outgoing CALL's)
    • Responder (acceptance, 1 to 99 incoming CALL’s)
    • Up to 100 communications in the same time
  •  ASN1 PER editor for H225/H245/RAS messages 

Automatic Simulation Behavior:

  • Generator: 1 to 50 independent outgoing communications defined by:
    • delays and IE buffer for SETUP, RELEASE COMPLETE.
    • number of repetitions and inter-communications delay.
    • RTP active source: Pattern, , Wav file, PESQ .
  • Responder: identical acceptance of up to 50 incoming communications defined by:
    • ACCEPT/REJECT behaviour.
    • Transmission option and IE buffer for CALL-PROC, ALERT, CONNECT, RELEASE COMPLETE.
    • Delay before CONNECT.
    • RTP active source.
  • Manual commands: CALL, CLEAR, Miscellaneous (FACILITY..)
  • Outgoing communications triggered by:
    • Starting delay.
    • Manual commands.
  • RAS optional  management. Registration

SIP Automatic Simulation

Simulation Features

  • Establishment of communications:
    • Generator (1 to 50 outgoing Destinations)
    • Responder (acceptance, 1 to 50 incoming Sources)
    • Up to 100 communications in the same time
  •  SIP messages editor with Parser 

Automatic Simulation Behavior:

  • Generator: 1 to 50 independent outgoing communications defined by::
    • delays and content for INVITE, BYE.
    • number of repetitions and inter-communications delay.
  • Responder: acceptance of up to 50 independent incoming communications defined by:
    • matching string in the Starting line of the message
    • ACCEPT/REJECT behaviour.
    • Transmission option and content for STATUS messages (181, 182....), .
    • Delay before 200 OK.
  • Manual commands: CALL, CLEAR, Miscellaneous (CANCEL...)
  • Outgoing communications triggered by:
    • Starting delay.
    • Manual commands.
  • optional  management.
    • Registration:  Up to 8 REGISTER messages (content edition)
    • Authentication
