Filter protocol - RECORD action with STOP Delay

The Stop Delay function prolongs the Record State ON by N events after the event triggering the Record Stop action.
This function is active if ALL the following conditions are confirmed:
  • a non-null value for the Stop Delay field is entered in the filter.
  • the Record State is ON

The Record State ON can be positioned by:

  • initialization with the Initial state parameter of the filter file,
  • return to this state after a Record Start action.

The Stop Delay function counts, based on the event triggering the Record Stop action, the events to be recorded. When the value of the delay is reached, the recording state becomes inactive (OFF).

The selection criteria for the Record action are applied to the events coming from the prolongation.
