How to modify the fastart content of H225 messages replying to an incoming call

This page describes the way to configure the SETUP message when simulating an H323 End-Point with the following features:

  • connection to an Ethernet network
  • registration from a Gatekeeper by using H225-RAS 
  • establishment of signalling channels by using H225
  • establishment of media channels by using H245 (fastart option)

Profile H323_simu_mac_endpoint_RAS_fs.aip  is configured to send the reply of Fastart in the CALL PROC message. The content of the Fastart reply is automatically copied from the Fastart content of the incoming SETUP. It need  to have some modifications of the emulator configuration if the Fastart is end in an other message: 

  • Open the profile:
    • ProfileèOpen IP...èH323_simu_mac_endpoint_RAS_fs.aip.
  • Modifications of the  H225 message  used by the H323 Endpoint to carry the Fastart reply:

    • Selecting the message which includes the Fastart reply:
      Initialize Emulator èH323 èResponder behavior èAutogenerate Fastart and tunneling 
  • Save the profile under a new name:
    • ProfileèSave asèfilename.aip.
  • Select this new name in the LAN profile and save it.
    • ProfileèSave asèfilename.acp.
