ATM VCC

Usage. for the current VCC:

  • Analysis only. Monitoring, and configuration of the receive connection.
  • UNI signalling. to support the Signalling behaviour.
  • Call simulator 1. to support the Data behaviour and first call simulation.
  • Call simulator 2. to support the Data behaviour and second call simulation.
  • AAL type. and relevant parameters of the panel are used.

  • AAL 5
  • AAL 1
  • AAL 3/4
  • PDU max length. for the VCC receive connection.

    Cell header. used for each ATM cell for the VCC. (transmit and receive connections)

    • GFC. Binary value. x for mask use in monitoring.
    • VPI. Decimal value.
    • VCI. Decimal value.
    • Set CLP bit
      • Yes. The CLP bit is set to 1.
      • No. The CLP bit is set to 0.

    Rate mode. (for the VCC transmit connection)

    • VBR. The attached I and L GCRA parameters will be in use.
      • Increment. Values according to ATM UNI 3.1 Generic Cell Rate Algorithm specifications, and defined in cell slots + thousands (max 16383.999).
    • UBR. see specifications.

    AAL 3/4. parameters for the current VCC, if this AAL type is used:

    • Enable CRC10 field checking. (receive connection)

    • Enable BASIZE checking. (receive connection)

      • No
    • Significant bits for MID field. (receive connection)
      • MID processing disabled
      • 1 active bits
      • ...
      • 10 active bits (1-1023)
    • MID value. (transmit and receive connections)
    • CPI value. (transmit connection)
    • Initial SN. (transmit connection)

    AAL 5. parameters for the current VCC, if this AAL type is used:
