Filter editor: Data field value
String of bytes. The string is the selecting condition within the
data field of the messages of the related protocol layer and can be composed of
one or several bytes depending on the Number defined.
Each byte can be independently edited using several modes :
- Ascii. Ascii mode.
- Hexa. Hexadecimal mode.
- Binary. Value in binary form (0, 1 and x for mask use).
Number of bytes. Length of the selecting condition string.
Mode. Matching search mode within the data field of the messages of the
related protocol layer :
- Sliding. The matching search is carried out from the first byte
until the last one of the data field by successive shifting of one byte.
- Fixed. The matching search is carried out once from the (first + Offset)
byte of the data field.
Offset. Only used in case of Fixed mode to define the
beginning of the search area in the data field of the messages of the related
protocol layer.
