Literal PDU

Set of lines which can be edited in ASN1 notation, according to the syntax of the literal form of the PDU type in use.
The Copy/Paste functions can be used, to import, export, duplicate...
The content can be automatically re-generated from the Hex PDU.
It can include an hexa sequence, followed by its significant decoding including lines beginning with '--'.

Hex PDU:
Length:

Sequence of octets in hexadecimal form, whose length is displayed.
The Copy/Paste functions can be used, to import, export, duplicate...
The content can be automatically re-generated from the Literal PDU.

Get matching brace

To find the paired braces (successively opening and closing one).

Encode literal PDU

To encode and generate the Hex PDU content from the Literal PDU.

Decode hex PDU

To decode and generate the Literal PDU content from the Hex PDU according to the choosen PDU type.
If any error, the PER display format is used.

Decode selected PDU

Within the Literal PDU content, the highlighted hexa sequence will be decoded in a secondary H323 Encoder window according to the choosen PDU type.
If any error, the PER display format is used.

Show debug trace

Option to use the PER display format when applying decode hex PDU.

No

The ASN1 notation is used if not any decoding error.

Yes

The PER display format is used.
