SS#7 ISUP signalling behaviour: Parameter edition

Buffer of parameter(s). The buffer can be empty, or composed of one or several parameter(s).
The highlighted parameter is the current one, which can be selected from a choice list, or used-defined.

  • Current parameter. Editing of the parameter type
    • (  ) None. No parameter is defined. The line is not used.
    • (x) designation. The parameter is selected from the choice list.
    • (x) User defined parameter. Value of type can be manually entered between the brackets. The User defined parameter string is automatically displayed if the value does not belong to the choice list.
  • Mode. Selection of the mode used to include the current parameter within the buffer :
    • MF. The parameter is included in the Mandatory Fixed part.
    • MV. The parameter is included in the Mandatory Variable part.
    • OP. The parameter is included in the Optional part.
  • . Access to the choice list of types for the current parameter.
    The MF, MV or OP eventual indications advise to include the related parameter in the Mandatory Fixed, Mandatory Variable or Optional part.

Coding. To edit the content of the current parameter according to the standard encoding fields if any.

Hexa. To edit the content of the current parameter if any in hexadecimal.

Up. To move up the current parameter within the buffer.

Down. To move down the current parameter within the buffer.
