Initialize GFT-Control

  • No. The GFT emulator is not used.
  • Yes. The GFT-Control is initialised (see Qsig_gft_simulation note for configuration and use ).

Call establishment

  • Called party number digits. Two limit lengths are used by the dialing process:
    • Min. Minimum number of digits to be received.
    • Max. Maximum number of digits to be received.
  • Send CONNECT ACK. Access to editing the attached buffer of IE(s).
    Message transmission if validation:
    • No. The message will not be sent.
    • Yes. The message will be sent.
  • Wait for CONNECT ACK.
    • No. The occurence of the message is not checked.
    • Yes. Waiting for the message after sending CONNECT.
  • Allow modif. of channel id. IE. defined for the configuration of calls in the profile.
    • No. The Channel Id IE's cannot be updated by the emulator.
    • Yes. The Channel Id IE's are updated if necessary by the emulator.
  • Send DISC/RELEASE. Message transmission for call clearing on timer expiry.
    Access to editing the attached buffer of IE(s).

Timers. Value of time-limits specified for QSIG.

Time-slots available. Allocation list of TS's which are used as bearer channels.

Transit PINX. 

  • No. The Clarinet interface is used as an End PNX.
  • Yes. 2 Clarinet interfaces managed by a single profile (see list of template profiles), are used as Transit PNX. 

Transit counter max value. A value must be defined for use in case of Transit PNX.

List of PINX address fields. Several addresses can be defined for implementing the Transit signalling behaviour.

  • NPI/TON. Number Plan Identification/ Type Of Number
    A type must be selected in the choice list :
    • Unknown - Unknown
    • Public - xxxx
    • Private - xxx
  • Number Digits. IA5  values.
    If PNX is a Transit PNX, local numbers (i.e numbers for which PNX acts as End PNX), begin with the defined prefix.
