1. Path establishment

Send ESTABLISH... Message transmission if validation.
Access to editing the attached buffer of IE(s).


2. Path active

2.1. Digit signal(s). With the following steps in sequence:

  • Wait for any received signal. Before entering next step.
    • No. No waiting.
    • Yes. Waiting for any received signal.
  • Send SIGNAL... Access to editing the attached buffer of IE(s).
    after delay. An empty field means an infinite value of time.
    Message transmission if validation
    • No. The message will not be sent. No delay before entering the next step in sequence.
    • Yes. The message will be sent in sequence after the delay.
  • Send digit. for dialing.
    after delay. before sending the first digit. An empty field means an infinite value of time.
    every cycle time. between 2 successive sending of digit. An empty field means an infinite value of time.
    with Ack request. the digit acknowledge request indicator is set within the Digit signal IE.
    Validation for sending the dialing
    • No. The digit(s) will not be sent. No delay before entering the next step in sequence.
    • Yes. The digit(s) will be sent as a sequence of SIGNAL message(s) including the Digit signal IE.

2.2. Answer from peer entity. With the following steps in sequence:

  • Receive off-hook signal in SIGNAL... Access to editing the matching IE.
    Message waiting if validation before entering the next step:
    • No. No waiting.
    • Yes. Waiting for a SIGNAL message with a matching IE until the Off-hook time out expires.
  • Receive busy signal in SIGNAL... Access to editing the matching IE.
    Message waiting if validation before entering the next step:
    • No. No waiting.
    • Yes. Waiting for a SIGNAL message with a matching IE until the Off-hook time out expires.
      If such a message is received, the sequence in "2.3 End of exchange" phase of the Generator behaviour is entered without waiting for the Delay before End of call.
  • Off-hook time out. If this duration expires, the sequence in "2.3 End of exchange" phase of the Generator behaviour is entered without waiting for the Delay before End of call.
    An empty field means an infinite value of time.

2.3. End of exchange. With the following steps in sequence:

  • Send SIGNAL... Access to editing the attached buffer of IE(s).
    after End of call delay
    Message transmission if validation
    • No. After the expiration of the delay, the message will not be sent.
    • Yes. The message will be sent in sequence after the delay.
  • Wait for any received signal. Before entering next step.
    • No. No waiting.
    • Yes. Waiting for any received signal.
  • Send SIGNAL... Access to editing the attached buffer of IE(s).
    after delay. An empty field means an infinite value of time.
    Message transmission if validation
    • No. The message will not be sent. No delay before entering the next step in sequence.
    • Yes. The message will be sent in sequence after the delay.

OR cleared by peer entity. With the following steps in sequence:

  • Receive off-hook signal in SIGNAL... Access to editing the matching IE.
    Message waiting if validation before entering the next step:
    • No. No waiting.
    • Yes. Waiting for a SIGNAL message with a matching IE.
  • Send SIGNAL... Access to editing the attached buffer of IE(s).
    after delay. An empty field means an infinite value of time.

    • No. The message will not be sent. No delay before entering the next step in sequence.
    • Yes. The message will be sent in sequence after the delay.
  • Wait for any received signal. Before entering next step.

3. Path release

Send DISCONNECT... Message transmission if applying.

Copy/Paste functions

The Copy V5 IE  buffer and Paste V5 IE buffer functions allow to duplicate the contents of a particular message to an other one (in the same profile or a different one).
