How to use the TRANSDATA connection over ISDN Interface

The TRANSDATA connection allows to extract and insert the content of a B channel on an external X24/V11 interface.

Profile resulting from the wizard is ready for generating one outgoing call and accepting incoming calls in ISDN Simulation.

Example: Modifications to connect Transdata to the B channel in Outgoing call

 In the profile access to Generator... ->Comm 1   ->Edit  and select:

  • Active source: Transdata
    • Data extracted from the allocated B channel by Clarinet are sent on R direction of the Transdata.
    • Data received from T direction of the Transdata inserted to the B channel by Clarinet.

Profile resulting from the wizard is ready for Bert Simulation (User simu) over the B channel #1.

  • In the profile access to Generator... ->Comm 1   ->Edit  and select:
    • Active source: Transdata

  • In the profile access to Responder
  • In front of Active source access to: Connect  
    • in the column then connect: select Transdata
