SS#7 Emulator configuration - ISUP

Destination point code. Remote signalling Point Code used in DPC field of transmitted messages.
A value must be defined.
In ANSI, enter value parts as Network Identifier, Network Cluster and Network Cluster Member.

Circuits Identification Code. List of CIC's in use. Range can be defined.
Comma is to be used as a separation character for successive insulated circuit numbers and/or ranges of circuits.
CIC allocation for outgoing calls is carried out according to the following rules :

  • If OPC > DPC, first even CIC value found available starting from the lowest one.
Otherwise, first odd value found available starting from the lowest one ...
  • If DPC > OPC, first odd CIC value found available starting from the lowest one.
Otherwise, first even value found available starting from the lowest one ...

Bearer circuits association. Only available in the One SP + B Channels emulation mode.
Bearer channel(s) switched by outgoing and incoming calls can be managed either on the current Clarinet interface or on a set of several Clarinet interfaces.
Availability of TS's as bearer channels with associated CIC values must be defined for each relevant Clarinet by Specification access.

Timers. Value of time-limits specified in Q764-ISUP specification.

Exchange type. To be chosen within the following list:

  •  Orig. Originating Exchange
  •  Out inter. Outgoing International Exchange
  •  Inc inter. Incoming International Exchange
  •  Trans nat. Transit National Exchange
  •  Trans inter. Transit International Exchange
  •  Dest Destination Exchange
  • BICC selection. Special implementation of emulation mode translated from ISUP to BICC..
