IP profile editor: Initialize H323 emulator

Emulation mode. The behaviour of the Clarinet interface.

  • H323 End-Point. Clarinet emulates an End-Point.
  • H323 Gatekeeper. Clarinet emulates an Gatekeeper.
  • H.225.0 Call Signalling

    • Responder behaviour. Common behaviour of  the incoming connections.
      Destination port value 1720 must be used.
    • T301. Establishment timer.
      Defines the time after which the calling endpoint shall stop waiting for the called endpoint to respond.
      Should be >= 180000 ms.
    • T303. Setup timer.
      Defines how long the calling endpoint shall wait for alerting, call proceeding, connect, release complete or other message.
      Should be >= 4000 ms.

    H.225.0 RAS. Initialization of Registration, ...

    • Use RAS. To validate the use of the H.225 RAS emulator.
    • RAS settings. Editing of the RAS general settings for accessing to the Gatekeeper, independently of outgoing/incoming calls.

    H.245 Control

    • Terminal Capability Set. Access to H323 Encoder for editing and encoding the content of H245 Multimedia System Control message.
    • Terminal Type. Value of Terminal Type for MasterSlaveDetermination message.
    • N100. Number of repetitions of MasterSlaveDetermination message.
    • T106. Timer for receiving acknowledgement of MasterSlaveDetermination message.
    • T101. Timer for receiving acknowledgement of TerminalCapabilitySet message.
    • T103. Timer for receiving acknowledgement of OpenLogicalChannel message.
    • T108. Timer for receiving acknowledgement of RequestChannelClose message.

    H.235

    • Use H235. To validate the use of the H.235 emulation on RAS messages.
    • H235 settings. To define the used encryption algorithms and password.

    TCP Parameters

    • Ports. The range of values of the TCP ports carrying H323 (H225 CAS outgoing call, H245, ...).
    • User timeout. After this delay, the connection is released if the remote station is out of service. Typical value is 180 seconds.
    • Retransmit timeout. After this delay, the segment which has not been acknowledged is retransmitted.
    • Ack timeout. After this delay, the acknowledgement is transmitted if no segment has to be transmitted.
    • Time wait. Duration of the Time-wait state at the end of the connection.
    • Send window. Maximum size of data which could be received without acknowlegment.
    • Connection in listen mode. Number of listening connections.

    UDP Parameters

    • Ports. The range of values of the UDP ports carrying H323 (RTP, RTCP, ...).
